How do I become a member of Stardust Pool?
Sign up early as their are a limited number of memberships available. Choose the Register Tab and click on the printer friendly version of our application. Send form and payment to: Stardust Recreation Association, PO Box 244, Morris Plains, NJ 07950. OR Choose the easy Venmo @StardustPool option to pay online, and complete the online member application.
What are pool rules and regulations?
A copy of Stardust Pool rules and regulations can be found here: Stardust Pool Rules and Regulations. All members receive a copy of Stardust rules and regulations upon joining and agreement is required.
What are your season dates?
Stardust Pool opens Memorial Day weekend, weekends in June, and fulltime when school ends through Labor Day weekend.
What are your daily hours?
From Memorial weekend thru end of school (typically late June) Stardust pool is open weekends only: Saturday 12pm – 8pm and Sunday 12pm – 6pm. Memorial Day 12pm – 6pm.
Summer hours are 12pm – 8pm daily. (Note: On Wednesdays in June and July the pool is subject to closure at 5pm due to home swim meets.)

Are the Stardust pool lifeguards certified?
Yes, all our lifeguards are certified meeting strict State requirements.
Do you allow flotation devices?
Yes, flotation devices are permitted and we even have kickboards available for member use.
Do you have Guest Passes, and what is the cost of Guest Passes?
For COM members, pre-season guest pass books can be purchased at a rate of 10 passes for $50 before 4/30/2022. After 4/30/2022 guest pass books, can be purchased at a rate of $75 for 10 passes for COM members.
I forgot my guest pass, can I purchase one at the pool?
Yes, COM members can purchase individual daily guest passes at the pool for $10 and Seasonal members can purchase individual daily guest passes for $15.
Can I purchase a “Day Pass” to swim if I am not with a member?
No, pool access is only granted to non-members when they are a guest of a member.
What is considered a “Family”?
A family under our membership guidelines are all persons that legally reside in the home. There is an additional fee of $235 (COM members) and $250 (Seasonal Members) for Caregivers (Babysitters/Au pairs) and/or grandparents for the season.
Can teenagers attend the pool without a supervising adult?
Yes, pool members over the Age 12 can attend the pool without a supervising adult while following pool guidelines.
Is there a fee for swim lessons?
Swim lessons are at no cost to COM membership. One of the many benefits we provide to our members. Seasonal Members are offered swim lessons on an availability basis and the fees are per session. Sessions run 4 days of the week for 35 minute lessons.
Do we need to join the pool for our children to join the swim team?
No, non-members may join our Stardust Dolphin Swim Team. Please see Dolphins Swim Team for additional information on swim team.
What is your weather policy?
Stardust Pool makes every effort to stay open for your enjoyment during the season. However, there may be instances of inclement weather where for your safety we may have to close the pool temporarily. Updates will be sent via email to our membership.
Is the concession stand open daily during the season?
Yes, Stardust Pool Concession stand is open.
Is there parking available?
Yes, parking is available and is included with membership.
